Post by: Taurendil on December 14, 2005, 12:21:47 AM
Could anyone help me to find Sindarin, Quenya phrases that were spoken in the films(in written form)?

The best place to go would be Gwaith i-Phethdain (http://www.elvish.org/gwaith/movie.htm) ("Fellowship of Word-Smiths") who not only have the Sindarin and Quenya phrases (and Khuzdûl and Black Speach) but has a detailed linguistical analysis of those phrases. It also has phrases which didn't even make it into the film.

As well as spoken dialogue, Gwaith i-Phethdain has an analysis of the three soundtracks (although I don't think it has for the latest "Complete Recordings", if they are any different, of course - mine's on order) as well as sword inscriptions and text seen in the film (such as Gilraen's grave).
