Plot: Thomas Anderson is an average guy living in New York. But by night he is Neo, best hacker in town. He has lived a relatively ordinary life - in what he thinks is the year 1999 - until he, along with others who are potentially 'The One', is contacted by the enigmatic Morpheus who leads him into the real world. In reality, it is 200 years later, and the world has been laid waste and taken over by advanced artificial intelligence machines. The computers have created a false version of 20th-century life - the "Matrix" - to keep the human slaves satisfied, while the AI machines draw power from the humans. Anderson, pursued constantly by "Agents" (computers who take on human form and infiltrate the Matrix), is hailed as "The One" who will lead the humans to overthrow the machines and reclaim the Earth.

Other: Sky has been spending the last 3 years making sure Neo is okay. She was sent on orders by Morpheus, just in case he was 'The One'. She has slowly grown fond of him, and they became boyfriend and girlfriend. She hopes to God that he isn't pissed when she explains that she was sent on a mission. She doesn't know if he'll understand that she really does love him

*Sky walked up to Neo's apartment. Today was the day she would tell him about The Matrix. She reached the top of the stairs and knocked at his door. She hoped he was awake*

Neo rubbed his eyes blearily as he heard a knock at his door. He rolled out of his bed, his hair a mess, just in a t-shirt and some shorts. Slowly he made his way across his room, not having meant to slept in so long. Neo opened the door, peering out. Once he saw Sky, a small smile came onto his face, and he opened the door wider, to enable her to come in."Hey," He muttered

*Sky smiled and walked in to his small apartment room. She looked around. She looked back at him*
Did I wake you?
*Sky had to tell him soon. She had to take him to Morpheus. She had to explain everything to him, without implying that she did this as a mission. She didn't want to break his heart, it could bring him down so far*

Neo shook his head, closing the door behind him as he turned around. His gaze swept around his flat, never before realising how messy it actually was. "No, I was up... sort of," He said, moving forward, picking up some clothes that lay on the floor as he went. "Why are you here so early anyway?" Neo asked. Normally he met Sky down at the coffeshop that was was right next to the apartments. They hardly ever went ot eachothers flats

*Sky looked at Neo. She had to come up with something fast*
Well, I just thought I'd come and see if you were okay. I was just walking around the neighbourhood.
*Sky smiled. She was so good at lying. She even did it to Morpheus about her progression with Neo. She was supposed to have told Neo about the Matrix three days ago, but she just couldn't get round to it, today she would. That was a promise to herself*

Neo nodded again, a small frown flitting across his face. "Why wouldn't I be ok?" He asked, with a small chuckle. "Just give me a minute." Quickly, Neo picked up some clean clothes, and going into the bathroom, got changed. Neo came out of the bathroom, a smile still on his face. "So do you wanna go get some breakfast then?" He asked Sky

*Sky smiled. Breakfast might be a good place to tell him, that way he wouldn't make a scene. She nodded*

*Sky looked at her feet. She remembered that the breakfast would be fake anyway so it didn't really change how she would feel*

Neo nodded, and opened the door, allowing Sky to walk past him. He closed the door behind him, and fell into step beside her, rubbing his head. "I got a headache," He said absentmindedly, and looked up, smiling. "Don't think I drank too much last night..."

*Sky and Neo walked to a small cafe where they usually had breakfast. Sky sat down with Neo at their usual table and looked up at him*
Want a usual?

"Yeah, please," Neo said, glancing up at the waitress who stood beside their table. The waitress knew Neo and Sky, often serving them in the morning and knew what the 'usual' was. "So did you find anything interesting in the neighbourhood?" Neo asked Sky, his gaze returning back to her, a sparkle in his eye. "Anything different than there normally is?"

*Sky looked at Neo. Maybe now was the best time*
Well, you see...this is kinda hard to say.
*Sky sighed*
Here goes, this isn't a real world. It's a computer programme called The Matrix.
*Sky looked up at Neo, waiting for a reply*

Neo laughed, "Well, a lot has changed since I was last in town!" He said, not believing Sky. She could not possibly mean what she was saying, it was so stupid. Neo just figured that it was a joke. The waitress came back with their food, but Neo didn't touch it. He studied Sky's face, noticing how serious she appeared to be. She was a good actress!

*Sky sighed. She could tell Neo didn't believe her. She looked down at her food and then back at Neo*
You don't believe me do you?
*Sky didn't really know what to do now. Neo would believe her and she couldn't really force him to. The only way she could do this, was to drag him to Morpheus, then Morpheus would never let her out on a mission again. She was supposed to do this solo. She looked back down at her food, remembering that the taste of egg was how the computers had rogrammed it*

Neo stared at Sky, a deep frown on his face. "I have no idea what you are talking about," He said, picking up a knife and fork. "What are you then, some help feature?!" He smiled, though he was still confused and started to eat his breakfast

*Sky half smiled. This was going to take a lot of explaining*
The year is really 2299. You are just made to believe it's 1999. Over the years, humans build robots, the robots run on A.I. This was a bad move, soon the robots got smarter, and took over. Instead of being born, humans are simply grown. There are still some 'real' humans. I have been sent to...protect you, as you are important to the band of rebels I'm part of
*Sky looked at Neo. She just sounded like a girl on a mission with no emotions now. She hated that, she really did love Neo, but would he realise that*

Neo shook his head, swallowing what he had in his mouth. "Why am I so special then?" He asked, trying hard not to believe what Sky was sayig. Suddenly, it hit him that she had just pretended to be in love with him, to get close to him, and 'protect' him, if what she was saying was true. Neo dropped his knife and fork on the table with a clatter, now completely confused

*Sky looked at the table. She could bare to look at Neo now*
Because you are The One. The One who will defeat The Matrix
*Sky quickly looked up at Neo, just to see if he was still there. She looked back down at the table and bit her lip*

Neo did not know what to say, did not know how to break the awkward silence. "I don't know what you are going on about." Neo said bluntly, and then got to his feet, taking a last sip of water. "I think maybe we should stop seeing eachother for a while." With that, he turned on his heel, and left, heading back up to his flat

*Sky sighed and banged her head on the table. She looked at the people now starring at her. She sighed as she paid the waitress. She slowly stood up. She had to fix this. She walked out the cafe and looked up the road. Neo was still in the distance. She had to get him to believe her. She had to get him out of The Matrix. She started running up the street to catch up with him. She finally did and grabbed his shoulder*
Neo! I can show you

Neo frowned. "You still going on about that?" He asked, wondering how Sky would 'show' him. She couldn't show him something that wasn't real, so Neo figured that he had nothing to lose. "Go on then... show me!" Neo demanded, folding his arms across his chest, staring straight at Sky. "Show me that I am not living in a real world!"

*Sky thought quickly, what would she do. She could leave The Matrix and return. She pulled out her cell phone and looked at Neo*
Give me a minute
*Sky talked to Tank as he answered. She nodded as he told her the location of the closest exit. She looked back at Neo*
Follow me
*Sky then ran to the phone booth that Tank told her to go to. The phone rang. She quickly glaced at Neo to make sure he was watching. She gave him a quick smile. She then picked up the phone, disappearing out of The Matrix and back in to the ship along with the other Rebels*

Neo gasped as Sky dissappeared. He glanced around, but noone else was there, noone else had seen it. Neo rubbed his eyes. Was he going mad? No surely not. Neo walked into the phonebooth, searching for somewhere where Sky could have gone. But he knew it was impossible for her to just vanish like that. There was no logical reason. He picked up the phone but all he got was the dialling tone. Where had Sky just gone?

*Sky opened her eyes and she was back on the ship. She sat up, she was back in her plain old clothes and her hair was longer and greesey. She looked at Tank*
Send me back
*Sky laid back down and was sent back in to The Matrix. She appeared a few steps behind Neo. She walked up to him slowly. Maybe he would believe her now*

Neo jumped, spinning around as Sky apeared behind him. "Where... where did you go? How did you get there?" He backed slowly away from Sky, with his hands infront of him. He was scared now, there was no way that Sky could've got behind him without Neo noticing. Neo glanced urgently around, but there was nowhere he could escape to.

*Sky looked at Neo. Her eyes longing for him to trust and believe her*
I left The Matrix, and came back
*Sky stepped forward as Neo stepped back*
Do you believe me now?

Neo stumbled, falling to the ground, twisting his ankle. He sucked in a breath wih the pain, though his eyes were still latched onto Sky's. "I don't... don't understand," He explained. "I mean.. can't you take me out of the 'Matrix' too then?" Neo wanted to see it to believe it. He just couldn't get his mind around what Sky wanted him to understand

*Sky looked at Neo*
I can't just...take you out, it's complicated. We have to see Morpheus
*Sky didn't really know how to explain what had to happen, that's why she had to take him to Morpheus, even Morpheus knew she couldn't explain The Matrix*

A puzzled expression appeared on Neo's face. "Who's ?" He asked. Was it another one of Sky's friends? Did he know about the Matrix too? Neo slowly got to his feet, still a little bit scared, and very confused. So basically, he was in a sort of computer . So nothing around him was real. It was very hard to take in!

*Sky looked at Neo, she knew this was hard, she remembered when she was told. She took a deep breath*
Morpheus is a friend, he can explain it more clearly
